Senior Specialist, Account Management
Responsibilities
Oversee assigned Medical Products and Distribution customer(s) as it pertains to supply chain health and general service needs.
Bridge relationships between the customer’s supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service.
Support customer expectations and requirements through proactive account reviews, and regular engagement and review of key initiatives.
Prevent order disruption to customer through activities such as: elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversions.
Resolve open order issues by reviewing open order and exception reports, analyzing trends, and partnering with customer to take alternative actions as needed.
Advocate for customer and partner across Cardinal Health servicing teams to bring rapid and effective resolution to customer’s issues, requests and initiatives.
Track, measure, and report key performance indicators monthly.
Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention and growth of the account.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- 2-4 years professional experience; direct customer-facing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, preferred
- Strong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, preferred
- Highly motivated, creative, able to operate effectively within a team, preferred
