About the role
As the Senior Sous Chef, you will assist in directing and administering the planning, preparation, production, and control of all kitchen operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily food production for restaurant operations and banquet events, controlling food and labor costs.
- Ensure preparation, plating, and presentation standards are maintained, along with appropriate food quantities and adherence to safety regulations.
- Oversee kitchen staff, including hiring, training, developing, scheduling, and participating in the activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel.
- Assist the Executive Chef in creating and implementing menu selections for special themes/events based on current food trends and regional tastes.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and health regulations at federal, state, local, and company levels.
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, training, scheduling, and recognition.
Schedule
Full-time, year-round position with a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
