Senior Solutions Engineer US Federal Civilian
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer US Federal Civilian to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will serve as a key technical partner to the sales organization, helping shape customer conversations and translate technical capabilities into business value. The position is focused on federal civilian opportunities, where strong presentation skills, solution positioning, and an understanding of mission-driven environments are essential. You will collaborate closely with account teams and internal technical experts to advance opportunities, support the full customer lifecycle, and strengthen adoption of complex multi-cloud application services. In addition, this position will help mentor sales colleagues, assess opportunity fit, and communicate how the company's solutions address customer needs in secure, high-stakes government environments.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Articulate solution strategy and value proposition in relation to customer business objectives
- Provide technical expertise through presentations and demonstrations
- Mentor and educate sales teams on solutions and business drivers
- Determine opportunity viability and map organizational structure
- Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager
- Provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle
- Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to share best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of related industry experience
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
- Sales Engineering experience
- Experience with BIG-IP or similar traffic management and load-balancing technologies, including other leading vendors, Citrix, NGINX, or Kemp
- Experience with SaaS security
- Experience supporting Federal Civilian Agencies

Pay
$163,400 – $245,000 annually
