Senior Solutions Engineer | East Coast | Remote
About the role
The Enterprise Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs is a high growth team working together to solve technical and customer problems the right way. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably in the metrics/metrics monitoring space.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
- Own the technical engagement with customers and help to close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
- Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers
- Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on our products and the competitive landscape
- Work with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement material
Requirements
Location: Ideal located in Greater NYC or Boston Area
Experience: 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies, or in the Metrics/Monitoring space

- Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with our remote-first internal teams and with our worldwide customers
- Able to skillfully articulate our value proposition and the technical advantages of our products
- Loves solving technical challenges and thriving on bringing creative solutions to our customers
- Self-motivated, initiative, creative, and has already done a brave thing or two in their life
Skills
- Technical mindset and a desire to grow technically
- First-class written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting
- Experience with Open Source technologies and/or Metrics/Monitoring space
Benefits
Compensation & Rewards: In the United States, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $204,000 - $254,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success.
