Accountabilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.
- Help shape go-to-market strategies, support sales initiatives, and translate complex payroll requirements into effective solutions that meet client needs.
- Partner with sales teams to develop and execute strategies that increase adoption and market growth for global payroll solutions.
- Act as a payroll expert by understanding industry trends, compliance requirements, product capabilities, and customer challenges.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proposals, and presentations tailored to customer objectives and business requirements.
- Create and refine sales enablement materials, solution playbooks, and objection-handling resources.
- Educate internal teams on payroll processes, technical capabilities, and value propositions to support stronger sales cycles.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to product teams to improve solutions and align offerings with evolving business needs.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment.
Requirements
- Combine strong payroll expertise, consulting capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Be comfortable working with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders while operating independently in a distributed environment.
- Have 5+ years of relevant experience in payroll, consulting, solutions consulting, HR technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of payroll service models, including multi-country and multi-state payroll processing, compliance requirements, tax filings, wage regulations, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Proven experience consulting with clients, identifying business needs, and providing strategic recommendations.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and experience supporting complex SaaS or technology-enabled service sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage both HR professionals and executive stakeholders.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand, demonstrate, and evaluate software solutions.
- Able to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and manage competing priorities.
- Experience with payroll certifications such as FPC, CPP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar credentials is a plus.
- Familiarity with competitive payroll platforms, payroll industry trends, or PEO models is advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Experience working remotely or within asynchronous teams is considered a plus.
