Responsibilities
- Configure and implement Workday Payroll solutions, ensuring compliance with tax, labor, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze needs, and design payroll processes that align with best practices.
- Support payroll-related integrations, including connections with time tracking, benefits, and accounting systems.
- Execute configuration for core payroll elements such as earnings, deductions, taxes, retroactivity, and off-cycle processing.
- Conduct and support payroll testing, including unit, parallel, and end-to-end testing.
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide guidance on resolution.
- Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure seamless end-to-end payroll operations.
- Assist with documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Stay informed on Workday Payroll releases and new functionality to enhance client solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, with a strong focus on Payroll.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Payroll solutions.
- Workday Payroll Certification Preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax processing, garnishments, retroactivity, and off-cycle payroll processing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in payroll configuration and testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
