Senior Solutions Consultant

About the role

Individual contributor role to help scale the Solution Consulting discipline. Responsibilities include discovery, demonstrations, demo environment creation, demo scripts, technical workshops, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Support product sales (direct and channel) through qualification, discovery, demos, and technical workshops to close new business.
• Identify upselling opportunities with existing customers.
• Conduct competitive analyses and contribute to CI framework.
• Collaborate with Customer Success for smooth hand-offs.
• Work with Product/Engineering to articulate product roadmap.
• Create materials for new markets/verticals.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Support marketing campaigns and events (conferences, trade shows, user groups).
• Occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales with proven success.
• Hands-on experience/certifications in Workday Financials ecosystem.
• Experience selling financial applications (Payment Systems, Vendor Management, Order to Cash, EPM/CPM, ERP, Treasury) to the Office of Finance.
• Familiarity with AI concepts (LLMs, NLU/NLP, GenAI, AI explainability).
• Start-up/early-stage experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent presentation and demo skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA/MBA.
• Knowledge of other systems (NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Intacct, Oracle Cloud).
• Up-to-date on back-office finance/accounting automation trends.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Pay

Base salary plus incentive compensation (based on location, experience, and performance).
