The Senior Solutions Architect for Spacetime will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge networking platform and our customers' business challenges.
About the Role
You will lead technical discovery sessions with potential customers to understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives. You will design and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts that showcase Spacetime's capabilities. You will partner with sales teams to develop technical proposals, solution architectures, and implementation strategies. You will provide technical guidance during pre-sales engagements and support customer pilots. You will create and maintain technical content for customer-facing materials, including reference architectures and solution briefs. You will guide customers through technical validation processes and support them in building business cases. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout their evaluation journey. You will collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback and influence product roadmap. You will support proposal development with technical content and architecture recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with potential customers to understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives

- Provide technical guidance during pre-sales engagements and support customer pilots

- Guide customers through technical validation processes and support them in building business cases

Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and networking principles
- A sound technical foundation in satellite communications and wireless communications
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
- Track record of successful technical sales engagements and solution development
- Strong presentation and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and modern software architectures
- Understanding of spectrum management, network orchestration, or similar technical domains
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or satellite communications industries
- Familiarity with software-defined networking and network orchestration platforms
- Background in proposal development and technical writing
- Experience with government or defense contracting

Pay
The pay range for this role is: 200,000 - 230,000 USD per year (Washington DC Metropolitan Area)
