Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their business drivers, assess application portfolios, and design secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud native architectures.
Partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
Drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers by shaping and delivering strategies to build mind share and broad use of AWS within large enterprises.
Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
Facilitating widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform.
Developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
Representing AWS well within the customer’s environment and driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
Ability to travel, including out of state, up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

Self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
Comfortable at the intersection of technology and business.
Broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, devops, databases, application development, analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI).
Deep in at least 2-3 of those areas.
The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical.
Customer-facing, grit, and technology skills that will allow them to represent AWS well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
