Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect end-to-end IT solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Plan, deploy, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructures — including virtual networks, security groups, identity management, and cost optimization.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, infrastructure upgrades, and network redesigns.
  • Implement automation and orchestration using tools like PowerShell, Intune, GPO, and RMM platforms.
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive endpoint protection, email security, SOC/SIEM solutions, and threat detection/response strategies.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance readiness checks.
  • Deploy and manage security solutions for email, endpoints, and networks (including phishing protection and threat intelligence).
  • Architect, configure, and troubleshoot complex network environments (LAN/WAN/VPN/VLAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Expert-level support for Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and similar enterprise-grade networking solutions.
  • Manage firewalls, routing, switching, and advanced network security protocols.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, providing strategic recommendations and roadmaps.
  • Support the sales team with solution design, proposals, and pre-sales technical discussions.
  • Lead client meetings to explain technical solutions, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle complex L3 escalations and guide L1/L2 engineers on troubleshooting and resolution strategies.
  • Maintain and improve internal technical processes and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and technical training to junior team members.
  • Maintain detailed documentation using tools like IT Glue, Hudu, or SharePoint.
  • Ensure accurate network diagrams, architecture documentation, and client environment records.
  • Leverage RMM (e.g., NinjaOne) and PSA/ticketing platforms (e.g., Autotask) for efficient operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 7–10+ years in an MSP environment supporting SMB clients.
  • Proven track record managing remote clients in the US or similar markets.
  • MSP Operations: Expertise with tools like Autotask, Ninja RMM, IT Glue, or equivalent platforms.
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with Microsoft Azure — including design, deployment, automation, and cost/performance optimization.
  • Networking Mastery: Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, Wi-Fi).
  • Cybersecurity Proficiency: Hands-on experience with EDR, SOC/SIEM platforms, phishing protection, and security hardening best practices.
  • Systems Knowledge: Advanced skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Office 365, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Intune, and automation pipelines.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent English communication (verbal and written), with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for clients and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Comfortable leading client meetings, delivering proposals, and supporting pre-sales processes.
  • Work Hours: Must be available to work during US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+/CySA+, or equivalent.
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and NOC tools (Auvik, Ninja, SolarWinds, etc.).
