Senior Solutions Architect, First Time Deployment Networking Spectrum-X - NVIS

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking experienced software networking engineers to support groundbreaking, innovative technologies that enhance AI workloads in large clusters. You will work closely with customers and R&D teams to address complex issues and develop cutting-edge networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support networking technologies such as Spectrum-X and collaborate with customers on their technical challenges and requirements during pre-sales activities
• Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies to assist early adopters
• Build trust with customers and understand their needs to design and deploy cutting-edge NVIDIA networking platforms for AI and HPC workloads
• Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new features for customers
• Contribute to product requirements alongside engineering and product marketing

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with computer software, including knowledge of Linux kernel, Ethernet, and IP protocols
• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive knowledge in debugging issues involving Ethernet switches/routers and network protocols in the L2 to L4 layers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details
• Ability to work collaboratively and be willing to work directly with customers

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple programming languages (low-level C programming to high-level languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripts)
• Knowledge in cloud infrastructure and AI workflows
• Familiarity with NVIDIA Ethernet/Infiniband switches, RoCE, and RDMA concepts

• Competitive base salary ranging from $148,000 to $235,750 USD based on location, experience, and comparable market rates
