Senior Solutions Architect, First Time Deployment Networking Spectrum-X - NVIS

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking experienced software networking engineers to support groundbreaking, innovative technologies that enhance AI workloads in large clusters.

Responsibilities

• Support networking technologies such as Spectrum-X and work with customers on their technical challenges and requirements during pre-sales activities
• Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies for use by early adopters
• Gain customers' trust and understand their needs to help design and deploy cutting-edge NVIDIA networking platforms to run AI and HPC workloads
• Address sophisticated and highly-visible customer issues
• Work closely with R&D teams to develop new features for customers
• Help with product requirements alongside engineering and product marketing

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with computer software
• Knowledge of Linux kernel, Ethernet and IP protocols
• B.Sc, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive knowledge in, and experience with debugging issues involving Ethernet Switches/Routers and network protocols in the L2 to L4 layers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details
• Ability to work collaboratively and be willing to work directly with customers

Qualifications

• Coding development experience with multiple programming languages (from low-level C programming language to high-level languages such as perl, python, and shell scripts)
• Knowledge in Cloud infrastructure and AI workflows
• Linux Environment and Linux Networking
• Familiarity with (NVIDIA) Ethernet/Infiniband switches, RoCE, and RDMA concepts

Benefits

• Base salary range: $148,000 - $235,750 USD
• Eligibility for equity and benefits

• Base salary determined based on location, experience, and comparable positions

• Full-time position
