Senior Solutions Architect - Enterprise Technology

About the role

Bloomberg Enterprise Technology Solutions helps clients simplify their technology environments by providing integration solutions, connectivity services, and technical expertise. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting technical integrations between client environments and Bloomberg's suite of enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy integration solutions between Bloomberg platforms and client environments
• Lead technical implementation activities and ensure successful delivery of integration projects
• Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions
• Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and connectivity issues
• Collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, and Client Service teams to drive successful outcomes
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a technical role supporting front-office technologies within a financial institution or financial technology vendor
• Capital markets knowledge, including an understanding of buy-side and sell-side order management workflows
• Strong experience working with MQ, SFTP, Web APIs, SWIFT, and FIX protocols
• Experience with ETL workflows and data transformation technologies, including XML and XSLT
• Client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively
• Proven ability to independently manage technical integration and implementation projects

Qualifications

• Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python or similar technologies
• Experience with source code repositories and software development best practices
• Experience with data analytics or large-scale data environments
• Familiarity with API testing and development tools such as Postman
• AWS and/or Azure foundational certifications
• Portuguese and/or Spanish language proficiency is a plus

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 USD annually, with additional benefits and bonuses.
