Senior Solutions Architect, Automotive and Manufacturing

Responsibilities
- Build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.
- Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging, mission-critical projects.
- Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
- Link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.
- Create and share best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts).
- Evangelize and educate about AWS technology and industry trends (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).
- Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts).
- Represent your own team to executive management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
Qualifications
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Skills
- Passion for educating, training, designing and building cloud solutions
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with various teams at AWS, including services, marketing, and professional services
- Ability to represent your own team to executive management

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
Schedule
This role may include up to 30% travel.
