Senior Solutions Architect, Amazon Publisher Services
Key Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate, on-board, integrate, troubleshoot, and scale advertising technology services and bidders.
- Identify areas for automation, improvement, and scalability to support the technical integration backbone of Demand and Services.
- Drive features to optimize partner integrations and improve operational excellence through collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Account teams.
- Translate partner feedback into product and engineering requirements.
- Own and analyze long-term vs. short-term opportunities and recommend trade-offs benefiting partners.
- Own the technical agenda for business reviews with partners.
- Produce and oversee comprehensive technical documentation to simplify and scale partner integrations.
- Champion new product requirements and features for development.
- 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
- 5+ Years of hands-on experience in solutions architecture, software development, or ad ops at top-tier programmatic bidders (SSPs or DSPs).
- 5+ years of experience working with browser debugging tools such as Chrome Dev Tools, Charles Proxy, or Wireshark.
- 5+ years of experience working with client-side web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising space, including header bidding.
- Analytical and data-driven – familiarity with data analysis tools to process and analyze large data sets with AI or at least one database query language.
- Familiarity with implementing and debugging OpenRTB protocol integrations.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to span across both third-party and first-party demand partner integrations across the APS ecosystem. In this role, you will oversee launching, managing, optimizing, and scaling technical integrations across third-party bidders and first-party bidders. The ideal candidate will combine proven technical management, operational development, client-communication skills, and hands-on experience with online advertising to launch and scale these partner integrations.
