Senior Solutions Architect, Amazon Publisher Services

About the role

The Solutions Architect will oversee launching, managing, optimizing, and scaling technical integrations across third-party bidders and first-party bidders. They will identify areas for automation, improvement, and scalability to support the technical integration backbone of Demand and Services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, on-board, integrate, troubleshoot, and scale advertising technology services and bidders.
• Drive features to optimize partner integrations and improve operational excellence by collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Account teams.
• Translate partner feedback into product and engineering requirements.
• Own and analyze long-term vs. short-term opportunities and recommend the right trade-offs that will ultimately benefit our partners.
• Own technical agenda for business reviews with partners.
• Produce and oversee comprehensive technical documentation to simplify and scale partner integrations.
• Champion new product requirements and features for development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 5+ Years of hands-on experience in solutions architecture, software development or ad ops at top-tier programmatic bidders (SSPs or DSPs).
• 5+ years of experience working with browser debugging tools such as Chrome Dev Tools, Charles Proxy or Wireshark.
• 5+ years of experience working with client-side web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Qualifications

• Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising space, including header bidding.
• Analytical and data-driven – familiarity with data analysis tools to process and analyze large data sets with AI or at least one database query language.
• Familiarity with implementing and debugging OpenRTB protocol integrations.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
