About the role

The Senior Solution Consultant provides pre-sales support in the development and presentation of our platform for prospective clients and current customers to address the complex problems that Workiva's platform and solutions solve. This role serves as a trusted advisor supporting the business throughout the sales cycle by connecting customer outcomes to platform capabilities, rapidly iterating on solutions, and guiding customers through technical validation and value-based demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via virtual and onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, lead product demonstrations, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs
  • Demonstrate expertise across all of Workiva’s domain areas - Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting - developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact
  • Aid sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives
  • Conduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, build and present partner-specific business cases
  • Ensure customer success by working with implementation partners and Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long-term success
  • Absorb and deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years and a PhD
  • Financial Reporting, GRC, or Sustainability Reporting knowledge is valuable in this role. Candidates should either bring existing expertise or demonstrate strong aptitude and commitment to rapidly developing deep domain expertise

Benefits

  • On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: $156,000.00 - $253,000.00 USD Annual
  • Eligible for commission based on sales performance
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

Up to 40% Travel

Working Conditions

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
