About the role

Design and deliver production-grade AWS architectures that embed generative AI capabilities across every workload — from modernizing applications with intelligent automation to transforming data pipelines, security operations, and developer workflows using foundation models, agentic patterns, and AI-powered services. Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, cost-optimized solutions while driving measurable adoption of AWS services.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services.
  • Use AWS services to help our customers solve business challenges.
  • Enable innovation through use of GenAI tools, frameworks, OSS technologies and AWS managed services to build highly scalable web & mobile applications with data store technologies includin, but no limited to AWS RDS Aurora, NoSQL, Data warehouses, streaming, catalog, data pipelines.
  • Drive revenue growth across a specific customer.
  • Help organizations understand and implement advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
  • Shape and execute a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS.
  • Interact, communicate and partner with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as represent your team to executive management.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals.
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities.
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.

Pay

$176,600.00 - $239,000.00 USD annually
