Senior Solution Architect

About the role

This senior role leads the redesign and modernization of a COA Maintenance Module, defining the target-state architecture, establishing the foundational design and technical framework, and driving decisions that ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform growth. The individual will partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver a robust solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Analyze current-state platforms, identify architectural gaps, and define a future-state roadmap.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions through requirements analysis and business process design.
• Design and implement scalable application architectures with emphasis on maintainability, extensibility, and long-term platform evolution.
• Drive decisions that ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, or technology leadership roles delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable application architectures, with a focus on maintainability, extensibility, and long-term platform evolution.
• Understanding of application management, reference data, maintenance platforms, or similar financial services domains.
• Experience in requirements analysis, business process design, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Expertise in data modeling, system integrations, API-based architectures, and application modernization strategies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence strategic technology direction.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with financial systems, client onboarding platforms, maintenance modules, or enterprise master/reference data solutions.
• Experience in Agile product delivery, roadmap planning, and backlog prioritization.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory, risk, and governance considerations within large financial institutions.
