Senior Software Reverse Engineer

Responsibilities

- Grow knowledge and skills within our lab by experimenting on hardware and software. - Analyze and characterize technologies. - Experiment with compiler mechanics, optimizations, and security features. - Write formal technical reports. - Work with reverse engineering tools. - Engage in low-level software/hardware mechanics. - Help solve critical national problems. - Continuously learn new skills.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. - Demonstrates working knowledge of calculus-based mathematics and physics. - 10 years minimum of working experience in software engineering. - Proficient in C/C++, Assembly, GCC/MSVC/CLANG, Qemu, VS/GDB/Ollydbg/Windbg. - Knowledge of compiler mechanics, optimizations, and security features. - Experience with formal technical writing. - Interest in reverse engineering tools. - Interest in low-level software/hardware mechanics. - Secret clearance with ability to get a TS/SCI.

Desired Qualifications

- TS/SCI clearance. - Experience with embedded systems development (C/C++) with assembly knowledge. - Experience with complex device development, simulation, and testing. - Experience using software reverse engineering tools. - Strong motivation and willingness to learn advanced analysis techniques. - Willingness to work alongside senior engineers to learn from experts.
