Our work depends on an IT Quality Assurance Tester Senior to join our program to develop, support, and modernize mission-critical applications for our DHS customer and to work proactively, collaboratively, and with an entrepreneurial spirit in providing O&M support to the customer and their Stakeholder communities in achieving their critical missions.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate software products and/or systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards
- Lead/Manage/Support write and execute test plans using JIRA application
- Engage with clients/users/stakeholders to define system scope and objectives
- Provide support and technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles
- Validate enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with other QA/testing personnel and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Education: Technical Training, Certifications(s) or Degree
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline
- Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)
- US Citizenship Required
- Work Location: Any CONUS home/remote
Skills
- Ability to learn new systems and create customized and/or automated test cases
- Experience with Scrum/Agile project lifecycle approach to software development and testing
- Experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment
- Exposure to or ability to learn DevOps methodologies and solutions
- Exposure to or ability to learn SQL and SQL*Plus
- Adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, time management, multi-tasking, and task ownership
- Excellent communication skills

Pay
Likely salary range: $85,093 - $105,570. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Schedule
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Travel Required: Less than 10%. Telecommuting Options: Remote. Work Location: Any Location / Remote.
