Senior Software Engineer with Security Clearance
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of sophisticated software systems supporting mission-critical programs.
- Apply advanced software engineering principles and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
- Work independently on complex functional tasks while contributing to the overall technical direction of the program.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical, functional, and security requirements across the full development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and, when assigned, overseeing the work of staff supporting specific initiatives.
- Support high-visibility efforts where reliability, performance, and security are paramount.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a qualifying substitution as defined by program guidelines.
- Current TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
- IAT Level II certification compliance (required).
- Proven experience delivering complex systems in environments with stringent security and operational requirements.
- Strong ability to work independently while influencing team success and technical outcomes.
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
