Description
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to our innovative technological advancements that support national defense. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in various fields including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and user interface design.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
- Works individually or collaborates with teams to review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
- Solves software problem reports and provides input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and integration of COTS/GOTS.
- Utilizes appropriate software development methodologies and frameworks, databases, build tools, and cloud services.
Requirements
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution.
- Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.
