Senior Software Engineer (Tech lead)

Duties

• Lead design and implementation of AI application platform solutions (Agents, Function Calling, MCP, RAG, LLMs).
• Design and deliver AI tools and web applications using React, Python, TypeScript.
• Build, deploy, and maintain web applications & Microservices (Python & Java) for on-premises and AWS Cloud.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, guide technical decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (scientists, engineers, PDMs) to gather requirements and craft AI-driven software.
• Work with internal platform teams (Innovation, Asia-Pacific, BLR) to coordinate AI integration strategies.
• Help non-AI teams embed intelligent capabilities (agents, chatbots).
• Maintain, support, and enhance existing software applications.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks and tools.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage DevOps activities (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Ingress).
• Ensure application security, cost efficiency, and observability (metrics, logging).
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
• Support production release lifecycles.
• Create and maintain code and system documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum Experience: 5 years as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of experience.
