Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape the mobile quality strategy for a new rollout, with a focus on automated regression coverage across iOS and Android. You will partner closely with mobile engineering teams to strengthen test infrastructure, improve release confidence, and increase visibility into app stability. The position also blends traditional QA engineering with modern AI-assisted development workflows, requiring thoughtful oversight and strong technical judgment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $186,065 – $218,900 annually Responsibilities Own the design and implementation of automated regression test suites for iOS and Android Integrate test infrastructure into the AI code generation cycle for real-time performance verification Collaborate with mobile engineers to improve test coverage and streamline debugging processes Architect the QA strategy for the greenfield rollout, addressing complexities of regression testing Establish quality dashboards and SLOs for real-time visibility into app stability and release quality Qualifications 5+ years in software engineering with a focus on mobile test automation Hands-on experience with XCTest, Espresso, or similar testing frameworks for iOS and Android Experience building automated regression infrastructure within CI/CD pipelines like Buildkite or CircleCI Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin for writing and debugging test code against native mobile codebases Experience applying generative AI to enhance workflow efficiency while ensuring human oversight Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with employer contributions Equity and bonus eligibility for performance incentives Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
