Senior Software Engineer, Marketing Platform Tooling

This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines for accurate targeting data
• Create segment evaluation and matching services to resolve audiences on demand
• Develop a high-volume, reliable messaging delivery pipeline for personalized sends
• Architect shared, composable backbone and APIs focusing on observability and uptime
• Design and operate real-time and batch data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scale
• Contribute to the technical direction and roadmap of targeting and CRM platforms
• Own crucial platform components with high visibility within the organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a proven track record of success
• Expertise in backend languages, specifically Ruby and Go; Python is a plus
• Solid understanding of Rails or Pandas
• Experience designing scalable, reliable distributed systems with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Proven ability in rigorous unit testing and practical problem-solving
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

Pay

$168,000 – $177,500 annually
