Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Product Platform team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

About the role

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable systems and shared libraries for engineering teams
• Collaborate with product engineering to create clean, documented APIs
• Lead technical decisions influencing architecture and developer experience
• Establish engineering standards for shared components
• Engage in code reviews and design discussions to elevate engineering quality
• Document systems and libraries to support ease of use and contribution
• Contribute to the company’s engineering culture during growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or fullstack software engineering experience
• Experience building shared APIs or platform components for multiple teams
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code
• Curiosity and openness to using AI to enhance work effectiveness

Pay

$135,000 – $160,000 annually
