Senior Software Engineer - Java/Spring/Hibernate

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain solutions that allow Revenue Managers to grow and maintain competitive business strategies.
• Solve business problems using technical knowledge of professional concepts.
• Work on a variety of IT projects and programs, including but not limited to Tier 1 efforts.
• Evaluate elements of technology’s effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation.
• Propose recommendations for improvements that enhance service quality.
• Listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area.
• Must have 3+ years of experience developing software applications using Java, Maven, GIT, and other object-oriented programming languages.
• Must have experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and end-to-end testing.
• Must have experience with Spring and Hibernate.
• Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with AWS, or other Public Cloud environments.
• Experience with Revenue Management concepts and business discipline.
• Experience with Jenkins for software build/deployments.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Spock and/or Karate.
• Experience with Java 17+.
• Experience with SQLOpenAPI spec.
• Distributed system development experience.
