About the Role

The Constellation Manager State Aggregation & Payload Management team aggregates system and vehicle state information and manages payload configurations to optimize mission performance and resource utilization. The Vehicle Manager Telemetry team processes, manages, and relays telemetry data for vehicle performance analysis, asset registry updates, and operational decision-making.

As the Agile Scrum Master, you will ensure the team delivers value and continuously improves by facilitating Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. You will remove impediments, own process improvements, and maintain alignment with program standards and DevSecOps workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily execution of the current sprint, maintaining momentum toward sprint goals.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments quickly and escalate systemic blockers through the Release Train Engineer (RTE) when needed.
  • Promote disciplined Agile practices aligned with program standards and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to ensure stories are sprint-ready and sequencing is clear.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on predictability and quality.
  • Track team-level metrics, support continuous improvement, and promote a culture of transparency.
  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and the RTE to maintain cross-team alignment during Program Increment (PI) execution.
  • Maintain alignment with your home functional organization, staying current on policies, processes, best practices, and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Agile metrics such as backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Coding experience using Java, C/C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator supporting software development teams.
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance (required prior to start date).
  • U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design.
  • Experience guiding Agile teams on Scrum practices and values to deliver high-quality software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD), and automated testing.
  • Experience with satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
  • Experience working within multi-team Agile Release Trains.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and mission-critical or aerospace environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning practices.
  • Skilled at removing impediments, driving team focus, and reinforcing Agile discipline.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Flight Dynamics or Network Management (Space Mesh) experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels, and factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills will be considered when extending an offer.
