About the role
Join a leading Software Engineering team developing advanced control software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain control software for semiconductor tools
- Create software for Windows and real-time systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control systems
- Lead escalation calls with field engineers and global customers
- Collaborate with QA and Support teams on testing
- Author system specifications, designs, and test plans
- Investigate problem reports and propose solutions
- Support factory automation protocols like SECS/GEM and GEM300
- Work closely with automation teams for seamless equipment-factory integration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; MS preferred
- Strong C# development skills
- 5+ years software development experience, industry experience preferred
- Experience with factory automation, SECS/GEM, GEM300, and EDA protocols
- Hands-on with factory systems like AMHS
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years in software architecture and control software for semiconductor equipment
- Expertise in multi-threaded, real-time applications, GUI development, device drivers, networking, and dynamic scheduling algorithms
