Senior Software Engineer I, Full Stack
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I, Full Stack to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will serve as a technical leader across modern web application development, with a focus on building scalable, reliable, and user-friendly digital experiences. You will partner closely with Product and UX to shape features from discovery through deployment, while also mentoring engineers and helping raise engineering standards across the team. In this position, you will own both frontend and backend execution, helping architect APIs, integrate third-party services, and improve application performance and reliability in a fast-moving environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical leader and SME for React/TypeScript and Django/Python
- Design, build, and maintain features for React applications and Django APIs
- Partner with Product and UX to create intuitive user experiences
- Architect scalable RESTful APIs and manage third-party service integrations
- Drive features through the lifecycle from discovery to deployment
- Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of applications and APIs
- Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards across the team
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in production web applications
- Expertise in React/TypeScript and Python/Django
- Proven ability to manage complex full-stack systems end-to-end
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Strong PostgreSQL skills and relational data modeling expertise
- Experience with modern frontend tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong automated testing practices across multiple layers

Pay
$135,000 – $155,000 annually
