Responsibilities
- Deliver software on-time with accurate estimates
- Take ownership of changes to ensure they run in production with appropriate monitoring
- Integrate internal and external APIs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across distributed systems
- Provide quality code review feedback to prevent production issues and help other team members grow
- Partner with product on understanding requirements, review technical requirements, and take/implement actionable tasks from the team’s board/backlog
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions implementing them
- Support healthy system operations and ensure high levels of availability are achieved
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent years of working experience in the field
- Backend-first Full-Stack engineering experience in C#, Java, or an equivalent compiled object-oriented programming language on the back-end and React on the front-end
- Experience working in the Financial Services space specifically on a customer facing product
- Proven expertise in working with CI/CD pipelines, managing application deployments, and ensuring code quality
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures using technologies like Kafka and DAPR
- Experience designing and managing distributed caching strategies using Redis
- Proficient in Databases like PostgreSQL or RDS, SQL queries, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or similar (Azure, GCP, etc)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub and Agile project management tools such as JIRA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a software engineer for a product engineering team
- Experience with deploying and scaling containerized microservices using Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience using large language models and agentic workflows
- Experience with Event Sourcing and frameworks such as Marten
Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $168,000-$200,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role where you'll be onsite 2-3 days a week in our Soho, NY office.
