About The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on our expanding team, you will contribute to the development of new features, enhance our technical infrastructure, and leverage a unique flow-based calculation engine. Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers to implement new product functionalities.
- Consulting with customer-facing teams and customers to identify areas for growth and problem-solving.
- Utilizing AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code to optimize your workflow and efficiency.
- Writing performant TypeScript and Python code across the stack.
- Developing the logic behind Parabola flows and genericizing shared logic.
- Ensuring scalability, stability, and observability as our customer base expands and our product evolves.
- Defining processes and practices that support long-term growth and success.
(We Think You'll Need To Do It)
- At least 5 years of full-stack experience in a high-uptime, continuously-delivered environment.
- Able to seek and provide help effectively, and maintain a commitment to stability, security, and maintainability.
- An enthusiastic communicator capable of contributing to a large team or leading a smaller, self-directed team.
- Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with AI/LLMs in professional settings, either through tool-building or enhancing productivity.
- Willingness to work remotely 3 days a week from either San Francisco or New York City.
Salary Range
The salary range for this role in San Francisco and New York is $180,000 - $200,000, based on factors such as years of experience, performance, and role responsibilities. Parabola offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes equity and premium health and wellness benefits.
