About The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on our expanding team, you will contribute to the development of new features, enhance our technical infrastructure, and leverage a unique flow-based calculation engine. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers to implement new product functionalities.
• Consulting with customer-facing teams and customers to identify areas for growth and problem-solving.
• Utilizing AI tools (Cursor and Claude Code) to optimize your workflow and efficiency.
• Writing performant TypeScript and Python code across our stack.
• Developing the logic behind Parabola flows and genericizing shared logic.
• Ensuring the scalability, stability, and observability of our services as we expand.
• Contributing to defining processes and practices that support long-term growth and success.

(We Think) You'll Need To Do It

• At least 5 years of full-stack experience in a high-uptime, continuously-delivered environment.
• Able to seek and provide help effectively, and committed to maintaining stable, secure, and maintainable code.
• An enthusiastic communicator capable of contributing to a large team or leading a smaller one independently.
• Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with AI/LLMs in professional settings, either through tool-building or enhancing productivity.
• Willingness to work remotely 3 days a week from either San Francisco or New York.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $200,000, based in San Francisco and New York. The actual salary is determined by factors including years of experience, performance, and role responsibilities.
