Responsibilities

• Architect core technical pillars for an industry-scale operating system.
• Build high-throughput backend APIs and production AI agents that transform unstructured data into deterministic trade insights.
• Solve complex logistical challenges while scaling infrastructure for global transaction volumes.
• Design and scale robust backend APIs and data pipelines using Python and Go to process massive commercial contract volumes.
• Architect agentic AI systems and structured extraction pipelines that turn chaotic PDFs and emails into reliable, production-ready data.
• Own end-to-end product features across the full stack, from sophisticated data orchestration to clean, intuitive user workflows in React.

Requirements

• Bring 6+ years of engineering experience, with a proven track record as a core contributor at high-growth startups or early technical leadership.
• Possess hands-on expertise deploying production AI/LLM systems, specifically focusing on structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, or complex agent orchestration.
• Demonstrate strong business curiosity and technical judgment, effectively translating messy real-world logistics into elegant, high-performance code and pragmatic engineering trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
• Experience with Python and Go for API design and data processing.
• Knowledge of structured data extraction and AI/LLM systems.
• Ability to work in a high-trust, low-bureaucracy environment in San Francisco.
