Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for building robust and scalable data infrastructure to join our Data Platform team. In this role, you'll design and develop the foundational systems that power the flow of data across the company, enabling fast insights and smarter decisions as we grow. Our mission is to create a platform that turns raw information into actionable intelligence — efficiently, reliably, and at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and build resilient systems for real-time data movement, processing, and storage
• Scale data infrastructure to support our rapidly growing business needs
• Unlock actionable insights by enabling seamless, governed access to high-quality, trustworthy data
• Drive innovation in data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across the company
• Establish best practices that balance performance, flexibility, and governance at scale

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years in data infrastructure
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or Java
• Expertise with cloud data lakes such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Experience with streaming and big data processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Spark)
• Experience with workflow orchestration systems (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
• Implemented CDC solutions (e.g., Debezium, Maxwell)
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to data governance, PII handling, or policy-driven access control — e.g., RBAC at scale, SQL-level data masking, or policy compiler / lineage systems

Pay

Salary Range: $185,000 to $230,000 USD per year. The actual base salary offered is dependent on several factors.
