This global team spans multiple disciplines and time zones to offer inclusive policies, financial forecasting, legal advice, system security, and support for new initiatives.About the Opportunity:The Senior Software Engineer, Data Enablement will lead the development of platforms and frameworks that enable data movement and usage across the organization. The role focuses on designing and maintaining online data projections and event-streaming capabilities that convert event streams into reliable, low-latency data products. This position sets technical direction and standards for streaming data solutions used by multiple internal teams.Responsibilities:Serve as subject-matter expert for online data projections and event-streaming capabilitiesLead technical strategy for real-time, event-driven data systemsBuild and operate streaming pipelines and projection frameworks handling high-volume event dataCollaborate with engineering teams to transform Kafka event streams into dependable data productsEnhance reliability, observability, and data quality of production streaming systemsMentor engineers and influence platform architecture and standardsSupport additional domains including third-party data proxy backend, graph data store, and offline batch data projectionsRequirements:8+ years of professional software engineering experienceExtensive experience designing and operating distributed, high-throughput backend systemsPractical knowledge of event-driven architecture and streaming platforms such as KafkaExperience with streaming or real-time data systems; familiarity with Spark Structured Streaming or Flink preferredProficiency in a JVM language like Kotlin or comparable backend/systems programming skillsExperience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWSProven leadership in technical projects and mentoring engineersData engineering background is a plus (data pipelines, lakehouse/warehouse modeling, large-scale batch/streaming systems)Pay Range and Compensation Package:Zone A: $217,800 to $326,800 USDZone B: $207,000 to $310,400 USDZone C: $196,100 to $294,100 USDZone D: $185,200 to $277,800 USDBenefits & Perks:Medical insurancePaid maternity leaveEqual Opportunity Statement:Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
