We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description. We need headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. Let's parse. We have description: "Do you want to help define the future of finance? ..." That's about the role. Could be About the role. Responsibilities: bullet list under "What You Will Do". That's responsibilities. Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: The posting has "What We Are Looking For" which includes hands-on production experience etc. Could be Requirements. Also "Tech environment" list of technologies. Could be Skills. Benefits: They list Hybrid working, Remote Work Budget, Learning & Development Budget, Vacation/Leave, Healthcare, 401k, Mental Health, Diversity etc. So Benefits section. Pay: Not mentioned. So omit Pay. Schedule: Not mentioned (maybe hybrid working but that's under Benefits). So omit Schedule. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. The posting includes Diversity and Inclusion statement; that's boilerplate? It's about diversity but it's generic. Might be considered EEO boilerplate. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So we should remove the Diversity and Inclusion paragraph. Also "No recruitment agencies please!" is boilerplate; remove. We need to preserve all substantive information. So keep the rest. We need to format with

for each section heading. Use
  • for lists. Use

for prose. We need to ensure we don't create empty sections. Let's craft. Section About the role: include the introductory paragraphs up to "What that looks like for this role is set out below." plus maybe the "The impact you will have" paragraph? Actually that could be part of About the role or Responsibilities. But we have separate Responsibilities section for "What You Will Do". So About the role could include the initial motivational paragraphs and description of role focus. Let's include: first paragraph(s) describing the mission, the role, the team, the AI fluent workforce, etc. Up to "What that looks like for this role is set out below." That seems like intro. Then Responsibilities: the bullet list under "What You Will Do". That's a list of items each ending with period. We'll put each as

  • . Then Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: We could combine into one section "Requirements" containing the bullet list under "What We Are Looking For" plus maybe the "Tech environment" list as skills. But we need to decide headings. The instruction: use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We can include multiple of those if content exists. We have content for Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. Could split: Requirements (hands-on production experience etc), Qualifications (maybe education? none), Skills (tech environment). But we have no explicit qualifications separate. Safer to combine into Requirements and Skills sections. Let's extract: "What We Are Looking For" bullet list: - Hands-on production experience with Scala and functional programming. - Ability to design, build, and maintain distributed data systems in a cloud-based environment. - Hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Databricks. - Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Judgement to balance scalability, performance, and maintainability. - Experience with data modelling and workflow orchestration. - Bonus points for Experience in stream processing frameworks and event-driven architecture. - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). - Experience working in containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes). - Interest in AI-driven tooling for engineering workflows. - Interest in crypto and blockchain technologies. That's requirements/skills. Tech environment list: Scala | Spark | Databricks | AWS | Claude | Airflow | Kubernetes | Terraform | Functional Programming That's skills. We could put Requirements section with the bullet list (excluding bonus points maybe still part). Skills section with the tech environment list. Benefits section: list items: - Hybrid working: The option to work from almost anywhere for up to 90 days per year. - Remote Work Budget: $650 budget to set up your home office space. - Learning & Development L&D Budget: $1,000 annual Learning & Development budget to use on anything (agreed with your manager) that contributes to your growth and development. - Vacation / Leave: Holidays: 25 days of annual leave + US Public Holidays. Birthday Leave: An extra day off for your birthday. Enhanced Parental Leave: We provide eligible employees, regardless of gender or whether they become a parent by birth or adoption, 16 weeks fully-paid leave. - Healthcare: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage through a range of providers (including Tufts, Kaiser, Aetna, UHC, and Blue Shield of CA) with generous premium contributions for you and your dependents. - 401k: Company match included. - Mental Health: Full access to Spill mental health support. We should keep as list items. Now produce HTML. We must not include markdown fences. Just raw HTML. Let's craft.

    About the role

Do you want to help define the future of finance? Are you a strong software engineer who's passionate about data, distributed systems, and delivering impact at scale? Are you looking for a values-driven company that invests in its people and gives you the autonomy to shape critical systems, while staying close to the code? We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Elliptic's Product-Engineering organisation, focusing on data engineering solutions that power our blockchain analytics and intelligence products. This is a hands-on engineering role: as a senior member of the team, you will spend the majority of your time designing, building, and shipping the data platform yourself, while driving the technical direction that ensures it continues to meet the growing demands of blockchain analysis. Challenges include building a blockchain-agnostic solution that scales globally, processing large batch and streaming datasets, and solving complex data processing problems that give our customers deep insights into the flow of value across the crypto ecosystem. Elliptic is building an AI fluent workforce. We invest in the tools, training and time for our teams to use AI well: every Elliptite has access to Claude, and we expect AI to be a normal part of how you work, not an occasional add on. We are not looking for people who use AI the most. We are looking for people who use it best, with curiosity, sound judgment and full ownership of what they ship. Across our Product, Engineering, Design and Intelligence we’re going beyond giving everyone the tools. We’re setting new standards. Using AI to transform how we build and work every day to deliver on our market opportunity. Put another way our teams iterate alongside agentic systems applying judgement to build world class systems.

    Then Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    • Write, ship, and maintain production code as a hands-on engineer.
    • Architect, design, and implement large-scale distributed data systems and pipelines.
    • Contribute to technical decision-making across batch and streaming data solutions.
    • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and intelligence analysts to build customer-focused products.
    • Explore and integrate new technologies (e.g. data orchestration or cloud-native tools) to optimise performance and scalability.
    • Take shared ownership of data systems, from design to deployment and ongoing improvement and support.
    • Perform thoughtful peer reviews that raise code quality and share best practices across the team.
    • Contribute to platform-wide initiatives that improve reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
    • Help shape the technical roadmap for data engineering across Elliptic.
    • This role requires ‘Adoptive’ AI fluency. This means AI has already changed how you work, not just how fast. We expect you to enjoy leveraging AI and agentic systems to operate more effectively.
    Then Requirements:

    • Hands-on production experience with Scala and functional programming.
    • Ability to design, build, and maintain distributed data systems in a cloud-based environment.
    • Hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Databricks.
    • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
    • Judgement to balance scalability, performance, and maintainability.
    • Experience with data modelling and workflow orchestration.
    • Bonus points for experience in stream processing frameworks and event-driven architecture.
    • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

    Then Benefits:

    Benefits

    • Hybrid working: The option to work from almost anywhere for up to 90 days per year.

    • Mental Health: Full access to Spill mental health support.
We should not include Pay or Schedule sections. Check for any leftover boilerplate: we removed Diversity paragraph and "No recruitment agencies please!" Good. Check that we didn't repeat job title. Not present. All substantive info preserved? We omitted the sentence "What that looks like for this role is set out below." That's part of About the role; we kept it? Actually we ended About the role before that sentence. We included up to "Put another way our teams iterate alongside agentic systems applying judgement to build world class systems." The sentence "What that looks like for this role is set out below." is a transition; we could include it but it's not substantive. It's okay to omit. It's not required. We also omitted the line "The impact you will have Our data and intelligence platform sits at the heart of everything we do..." That's substantive; we didn't include it. Should we include? It's about impact; could be part of About the role or Responsibilities. Since we have About the role already, we could add that paragraph there. Let's add after the AI fluent workforce paragraph maybe. Add a paragraph: "The impact you will have Our data and intelligence platform sits at the heart of everything we do. As a senior engineer, you will personally design and build data systems that serve as the backbone of all Elliptic products. By collaborating across blockchain, intelligence and product teams,
