Senior Software Engineer Case Execution

About the role

Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Case Execution team. This team owns critical parts of the workflow, including eligibility, batching, submissions, ops workflows, and claim orchestration.

What You'll Do

• Build and improve core backend case execution systems.
• Tackle complex, data-driven backend problems and decision logic.
• Contribute to workflow orchestration and system reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrations, Product, and Strategy teams.
• Contribute to internal-facing UI and ops tooling when required.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Expertise in building data-heavy, workflow-oriented systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong understanding of data-driven decision logic and system sequencing.
• Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment.
