About the role
The Senior Software Engineer - Calibre PERC is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions using C++ and other relevant technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for semiconductor design verification tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, architects, and other software developers.
- Implement and optimize graph algorithms for efficient EDA solutions.
- Write and maintain shell scripts and interpret software languages like Tcl or Python.
- Work in Unix/Linux environments to ensure robust software performance.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is helpful.
- Proven experience of up to 7 years in software development, with a strong C++ programming background.
- Knowledge of graph algorithms and their applications in EDA.
- Background in High-Performance Computing (HPC) programming.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system environments.
- Self-motivated, trustworthy, and a team player.
- Experience in DRC, LVS or PERC is a plus.
- Alignment to tenets of quality software development and craftsmanship.
- Proven attention to detail, the ability to accurately estimate and deliver software on schedule.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $129,600 - $233,300 annually with a target incentive of 5-10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
