About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and deploy automated event-tagger into production pipelines
  • Build and maintain data engineering pipelines for tagged scenario data
  • Own CI/CD for the Auto Tagger pipeline using GitHub Actions
  • Write production-grade Python code for data ingestion and model deployment
  • Build and operate on Databricks for data processing and pipeline orchestration
  • Design and scale AWS infrastructure to support processing of vehicle log pipelines
  • Instrument pipelines with logging, metrics, and alerting; handle on-call responses for failures
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to scale tagging models into production pipelines
  • Ensure data quality and integrity as events transition to the observations database
  • Troubleshoot and enhance pipeline performance, reliability, and cost

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with production data pipelines or ML infrastructure
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Hands-on CI/CD experience, specifically with GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing
  • Proficiency in AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with observability tools for monitoring production pipelines
  • Ability to integrate and deploy ML models into production systems

Pay

$160,800 – $193,000 annually
