Senior Software Engineer
About the role
Selected professionals will contribute deep software engineering expertise to a project involving state-of-the-art large language models. The work involves improving how AI models handle complex, real-world software engineering tasks, and creating high-quality data to inform the future of AI. The role is open to candidates based in the United States and Europe. Screening includes a 30‑minute AI interview followed by an asynchronous SWE exercise and project instructions quiz (approximately 2 hours total), paid at $100 upon completion.
Responsibilities
- Contribute senior-level engineering expertise to an AI model training project.
- Work on challenging, complex SWE tasks that test and improve model capabilities.
- Help create and evaluate data that supports the advancement of large language models.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience at top US tech firms.
- Passion for improving AI model capabilities on complex SWE tasks.
- Ability to commit approximately 20 hours per week.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Pay
Rate: $150–$210 per hour, depending on geography and experience level.
Schedule
Commitment: ~20 hours per week; expected duration of 2–3 weeks. Fully remote with a flexible schedule. Project duration may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on business needs and performance.
