Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code using Java, JavaScript, and Python, driving the full SDLC including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage GenAI tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to maintain high‑quality software.
  • Participate in solution design, evaluating trade‑offs and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor application performance and support continuous improvement through proactive testing and observability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in Java and object‑oriented programming principles.
  • Strong technical acumen in platform design, component services, and iterative development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams.
  • Expertise in code review, debugging, and continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration and generative artificial intelligence tools to enhance software solutions.
  • Demonstrated skills in technical leadership, solution design, and mentoring peers.
  • Commitment to quality, performance monitoring, and customer‑focused software delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area **and** 3 years of experience in software engineering or a related field, **or**
  • 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area **and** 1 year of experience in software engineering or a related field.
  • Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.

Pay

Bellevue, Washington: $108,000 – $216,000 annually.
Sunnyvale, California: $117,000 – $234,000 annually.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock awards.
