About the role
We're looking for Senior Backend Software Engineers to join our team in Seattle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Framework, and gRPC
- Lead complex technical projects from conception to production
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to architecture decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and conduct thorough code reviews
- Own production issues through to resolution
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
- Strong experience with gRPC and protocol buffers
- Deep familiarity with microservice architecture and AWS
- Experience building consumer products at scale
- Hands-on experience integrating or building with AI technologies
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Event-driven architecture experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Payment processing or financial systems background, GraphQL implementation experience, CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

$175,720 to $191,000, plus significant stock options, comprehensive benefits, and a bonus plan.
