Senior Software Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of scalable, reliable software solutions that support PRIME's core business and platform capabilities
- Own complex technical areas end-to-end, including architecture decisions, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support
- Drive technical excellence by setting coding standards, reviewing designs and pull requests, and improving system quality, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, SRE, and partner teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Mentor and support other engineers, providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback to raise the overall team bar
- Identify and reduce technical debt, proactively proposing and executing refactoring or modernization efforts aligned with PRIME's roadmap
- Contribute to system reliability and operational readiness, including monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are embedded into all stages of development and delivery
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including designing and developing modern applications in Java and Spring Boot
- 7+ years of experience building and consuming APIs, including RESTful services and distributed system integrations
- 5+ years of experience with front-end development using Angular and/or React
- 5+ years of experience working in cloud-native environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, with an understanding of scalability, security, and performance best practices
- 5+ years of experience working with data platforms, including MySQL and Snowflake, with the ability to design, optimize, and manage data workflows
- 2+ years of experience implementing and using observability and monitoring tools, such as Datadog, Glitchtip, or similar platforms
- 2+ years of experience working within CI/CD pipelines, using GitHub and GitHub Actions to support automated testing, deployment, and iterative development
- 2+ years of experience mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare technology is preferred, and hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR) is a significant advantage
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and stakeholder teams

Pay
The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
