Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Engineer works within an agile environment, contributing to the development of core platform components for the MDM platform. This role involves technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Architects, Kanban master, QA, and PM to deliver high-quality work.
• Develop complex features and ensure thorough code coverage through unit and integration testing.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
• Be ready to make daily technical decisions and communicate effectively with other cross-functional team representatives.
• Ensure sustainability in areas under your responsibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
• 3+ years of experience in backend applications development.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions and offer implementation support to customers.
• 2-3 years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology.
• Strong technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers.
• Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above), including Java Runtime basics.
• Experience in performance optimizations, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon AWS, Azure, or GCP and their services.
• Experience with managed databases such as AWS DynamoDB, Google BigQuery, GBT, Azure CosmosDB.
• Experience with managed queue services like AWS SQS, Google PubSub, Azure Service Bus.
• Experience in cloud security principles.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies.
• Experience in customer support in SaaS area (a big plus).
