Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Enact’s software platform transforms how solar and energy storage projects are designed, deployed, and managed. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will enhance and expand features within the PVCAD AutoCAD plugin and standalone desktop application, collaborating with mechanical engineers, data scientists, and software developers to deliver production-ready solutions for complex engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features in C#/.NET
• Work extensively with the AutoCAD API
• Translate between coordinate systems and develop CAD-based workflows
• Debug and optimize performance
• Interact with REST APIs and integrate with backend services
• Contribute to AWS-based microservices (optional but welcomed)
• Participate in daily team discussions and provide timeline estimates
• Clearly communicate technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Senior-level experience (5-7 years)
• Proficiency in C# and AutoCAD
• Experience with REST APIs
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, software architecture, algorithms, and data structures

Pay

$0-45,000/year
