Senior Software Engineer

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Working across internal and external data exchange scenarios
• Communicating effectively with business and technical stakeholders
• Strong working knowledge of Integration architecture and best practices using Azure Integration Development (Azure functions, Azure Eventing (Service Bus, Event Hubs), Azure Storage, API management)
• REST API design and development
• Enterprise application and system integrations
• Cloud-native development patterns
• Visual Studio/VS Code development and Python scripting experience
• CI/CD and DevOps practices

Desired Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Designed and developed Azure-hosted APIs and integration services
• Integrated distributed enterprise systems using modern API patterns
• The ability to adapt to evolving technology and hosting strategies

Important Context

The initial focus of this role will be supporting our Data Exchange initiative, where Azure integration technologies are currently expected to play a significant role. However, our broader integration landscape includes MuleSoft and other integration technologies, and our long-term platform direction may continue to evolve. As a result, we are looking for engineers with strong integration fundamentals who can adapt across platforms rather than specialists tied to a single technology.

Candidate Profile

The strongest candidates will demonstrate:

• Solid integration engineering and API expertise
• Cloud development experience, preferably in Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Continuous learning and adaptability
• Ability to navigate through some ambiguity as we are forming new software exchange patterns for the enterprise
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, demonstrating a strong presence in meetings and the confidence to communicate, question assumptions, and influence outcomes
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
• A balance of hands-on development and solution-oriented thinking

$63–$71/hour W2
