Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Role: Architect, develop, and maintain robust software applications across multiple platforms. Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to design viable, high-quality solutions. Lead and participate in Agile planning, story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning. Mentor and provide technical guidance to peers and junior engineers, especially in AI-augmented development. Define and uphold coding standards, review practices, and ethical guidelines for AI use. Implement and support AI-powered features and pipelines, contributing to prompt engineering experimentation and sharing tool usage insights.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and 4 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, high-volume software systems and client-facing web applications.
• Proficiency in multiple technology stacks (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle methodologies (Agile, iterative) and database technologies.
• Experience with AI-powered software development, prompt engineering, and collaborating with AI agents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.
