Senior Software Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled software developer who enjoys working with automated electro-mechanical equipment and seeks to be a stakeholder in the team with influence on best practices and design. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for automated electro-mechanical systems.
• Influence best practices and design within the software development team.
• Adhere to department and company standards and procedures.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and company personnel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product development experience using multi-threading and multi-processor application development.
• Good understanding of OOD/OOP and design patterns.
• Knowledge of motion controllers and system control theory.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience designing and building OEM software solutions for Windows environments.
• Experience developing customer-facing software.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, and Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and database design.
• OCR/Vision experience.

Pay

Salary range: $90,000 – $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The final salary offer will be determined based on relevant experience, specialized skills, and professional qualifications.
